– Sewing a Zip Up Onesie That Actually Looks Awesome –

Do you struggle with sewing stretch fabric and/or inserting zippers into knit garments? This video is about to become your new go-to. In this tutorial, I walk you through how to make a zip up baby onesie (with feet!) using a two way zipper that opens from both ends, perfect for late night changes and independent toddlers and kids (my 9yo still wears these!).

We’ll cover the full process, from preparing continuous zipper tape, inserting two zipper pulls, using double sided tape to avoid stretch warping, sewing with a zipper foot, and even finishing with a clean neckband that sits flat (finally!).

This project is super wearable, endlessly practical, and packed with techniques that will level up your confidence with knits and zippers, all which can be done on your regular sewing machine.
